TRYSETTE & FIONA JOY HAWKINS - Two of Australia’s finest contemporary solo artists have formed a partnership through their love of music and the ‘grand’ piano. Two Grand I’m Yours is the best of two musical worlds where genres collide, styles merge, notes fly and voices soar. A fusion of classical, folk and pop genres Trysette, the sensual enigma with the husky voice and Fiona Joy Hawkins, the elegant lady of ivory present their debut American tour.

Trysette and Fiona Joy Hawkins met in 2011 and quickly developed a mutual admiration for each other's music. They decided to tour with the intention of playing only grands, and having just completed their highly acclaimed 2011 Australian tour, Trysette and Fiona by public demand are now bringing Two Grand I’m Yours to America.

FIONA JOY HAWKINS, produced by Will Ackerman (founder of Windham Hill Records, and released LIVE at the Q and Sensual Journeys in 2012. Both albums available in records stores and online. An ARIA Finalist in Australia and winner of the ZMR Lifestyle Music Awards for Album of the year, Fiona has over 43 awards across 9 countries and has worked with artists including T-Bone Wolk (Hall & Oates), Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, Dire Straits), Jeff Haynes (Pat Methany) and Eugene Friesen (Paul Winter Consort) to name a few.

TRYSETTE, number four of nine children and a classically trained pianist turned singer songwriter grew up on the north coast of NSW, Australia. Her voice is warm and a little husky with strength and depth. Though unique and distinctive, she is often likened by her fans to the voices of Taylor Swift, Jewel, Emmylou Harris and Sara McLachlan. A fusion of folk and pop, Trysette has attitude, is intuitively melodic and intelligently sensual. The lady has something to say.

Touring internationally as a solo artist, Trysette has shared the stage with prestigous names including Bob Malone ,Toni Childs and Australia's own Deborah Conway and the Waifs. Trysette and Fiona Joy graced the stage with their piano and vocal talents on Thurs 20 October. Fiona played the first set sensitively, not really jazz, more folksy/classical, but nevertheless it was music which enthralled the small audience and left them speechless and an encore was ‘demanded’ … and in the same silence and listening intent on the part of the audience, the final number brought to a close a night of superb music.
  We often say ‘If only walls had ears’ … well, I believe that the Club really does have ears, and listens and retains every single note of music played. This is why people detect such a unique feeling and ‘presence’.
