Biography

Stephanie Marshall conveys a powerful presence with an easygoing style. Her music is folk ’n rock n' country with rhythmic melodies and intuitive lyrics. In her performances, Stephanie transitions easily from energetic to humorous to heartfelt. She has a knack for reaching out to her audience on a personal level, invoking laughter, sentiment and insight through life, love and resilience. Her first CD, Reality, is described as “hauntingly beautiful”, “self empowering” and “just plain good!” Stephanie has recently release her second CD entitled "Silk and Steel" which represents a progression into more diverse styles of music. She has definitely kicked things up a notch!

Promoting her CD through live performances from New England and down the East coast, Stephanie has appeared in various venues such as The Railway Café, St. James Coffee House, WICN’s Café Fantastique, P.A.C.E., The Wachusett Village Inn.
In 2004, she was first runner up in the Wachusett Village Singer Songwriter Competition and a finalist for the Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist Showcase in 2007.
