Biography

Leo Clarke Band is a Americana, Delta blues four peice from Cincinnati, OH. We play americana, blues, rock, roots, and more.

The group is centered around the award-winning bluesman, Leo Clarke is up for a CEA Best Blues Act 2011, and has won the 2010 Blues Challenge in Columbus, OH, and the 2011 Big Bend blues challenge in Pomeroy, Oh. in the solo/duo category, and performed at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN in February 2012. Clarke, originally from Columbus, lives in Cincinnati now, and also came in second place at the 2010 and 2011 Cincy Blues Challenge and 2011 Dayton blues Challenge in the solo/duo category.

About the Band. Recently the band has reform after the unexpected death of our B3 & Guitarist J.W. Laswell, who passed away after suffering a heart attack shortly after a gig. The powers that be has brought the four of us, Willie, Leo, June and Gary together and we feel blessed even in our time of great loss.The band is a seasoned group of musicains who have dedicated their lives to the joy of music. The LCB can adapt to any situation, Rock'n to soft acoustic. We can play for Bikers or Children, our goal is to share our music and spead positive energy.
