Biography

£'ssential is one of Milwaukee's most refreshing upcoming artist of the "feel good music era!" Born, Elaine Joplin, into a long continuing bloodline of singers, songwriters & musicians dating all the way back to Scott Joplin's world renown ragtime "Entertainer" tune or Janis Joplin's soulful rock jams!! £'ssential started her humble beginnings in the church where she was a member & director of the youth choir as well as a member of the awesome True Praise Youth Chorale! She then went on to become a member of the nationally recorded girl gospel trio "New Artists of Tomorrow", now known as "3n1"! After years of love, hurt, memories, & growing pains she has become a powerful r&b recording artist, songwriter (bmi), performer who reaches & heals the broken hearts of many often accompanied by a live band made up of her extremely talented family members!! "My drive & love is to genuinely encourage women & remind them of the power we possess when we truly love ourselves first!!
