Biography
Spinning Jenny was formed during the spring 2011 by Patrik DeChrist.
He had been playing around for several years in different metalcore acts, but always dreamt of playing 80s hardrock.
2011 he decided that he´d had enough of metalcore, and decided to follow his heart.
The band he was singing in then quit and he immediately called his friend Fredrik Lindqvist, inviting him to start a new project, playing nothing but the sweet hardrock they´d been raised on.
Shortly after, they called their friend Anton Hintz Nissen and invited him to play lead guitar. And he accepted since he loved the same music.
Same day their friend Linus Röthenbacher, a great bass player, and asked him same question.
If there was any doubt in Linus, it was surely gone soon.
Also he accepted.
only a couple of weeks went and Spinning Jenny recorded their first Ep, called Dirty, Fast and Furious.
The Ep has gotten very good response worldwide, through the distrubtion in different web music shops and on Itunes,Spotify,Wimp and such.
Spinning Jenny is currently working on the debut album called Straight out of hell.
