Resurrection Joe

For much of his life, Dean Reid knew he was different from most people but couldn't put his finger on why. Then one day a visit to the doctor clarified it. An MRI was performed and it was discovered that Dean had the Music inside him. Two neurologists reviewed the scan and overwhelmingly agreed that the large discoloration near the hippocampus strongly supported this diagnosis.

Unfortunately, surgery attempting to remove the growth would be too dangerous as it would require severing a major artery to the brain, so Dean resolved to learn to live with this at times debilitating condition.

He found an outlet for his urges to rock through his bass and started writing songs to cope. He sought to manage his illness by seeking the support of others. When he met singer, Nikki Valentine, keyboardist, Jen Doyon, guitarist, Dillon Romney, and drummer Mark Robinson, he discovered there were others like him facing the same struggles and he didn't have to go through it alone! They collaborated to form lyric-driven arrangements of progressive melodic alt-rock with retro roots for their medicine.

Resurrection Joe is an inspirational tale of musicians coming together to overcome adversity stemming from a shared affliction called Music and having fun doing it!
