"Best Emerging LA Artist of 2013"

Mina Knock is full of swagger and hooks for days. Hip Hop doesn't get as much play on The Deli LA as it should. Mina Knock is representing the chilled out west coast sound with proper form. He's smooth as silk and setting just the right mood for shrugging off the work week grind. Stream "Breathe" if you're looking for a good time. - The Deli Magazine

"Hold the Scene by Mina Knock ft. Tyler Demorest"

Talk about epic. From the non-stop lyrical over flow, bone chilling vocal chorus, and the high energy beat, this tune is perfection at its finest. It’s nice to see more people bridging the gap between trap and hip hop, giving us something that works for partying or just kickin’ back and turning it down. Get up off the couch and throw on a running suit because everything about this track makes you feel like a champion.

"Mina Knock 'The Vista' EP (Produced by Stint) First Listen"

Mina Knock has a classic flow and raw lyrical delivery, which remains fluid throughout the L.A. based hip-hop artist's six-track EP 'The Vista' (produced by electronic mainstay STINT). Lay your ear to the chill verses and sticky hooks first on VIBE. - VIBE Magazine

"Mina Knock"

Hip hop artists consistently fail to hold my gaze and I am anything but impressed with the emerging trap hip hop genre (case and point see Cheif Keef). Mina Knock kills it time and time again, landing himself along with Cam Meekins and a handful of others in my category of the best out there nowadays. Five song EP headed our way in the near future. - Bochi Crew (HypeM Blog)

"Mina Knock ft. Katie McCabe"

The soulful vocals of Katie McCabe meet the verses of Mina Knock in the track "I Need You." Sure to make anyone's heart melt, Knock and McCabe weave together a tender song of longing with "I Need You". Mina Knock has put together a solid offering over the past year. Most notable his EP, The Door Must Be Closed At All Times which you can scoop for free. Put on "I Need You" after you've run through your daily tasks and enjoy a warm siesta. Might not be a bad time to start sipping that Irish Coffee either. - Bochi Crew (HypeM Blog)

"Mina Knock Get Ready"

To be honest you really can't go wrong when you use samples from Fabolous' "Killen 'Em", but Mina Knock really did a good job with this one. This track will not be included in his newest project, but Mina will be releasing "The Vista" EP sometime this summer. - Way Up Here

"Mina Knock - Get Ready"

Mina Knock killed it on this beat. Having not uploaded anything in some time while working on his new EP “The Vista”, it’s a pleasant surprise to get this. This track is not from his EP but I really dig his flow on this track produced by STINT. The EP is releasing some time this Summer, have a good feeling about this one. - Fresh New Tracks

"MINA KNOCK – IN THE MORNING"

Soundcloud surfing has brought me across Mina Knock, an up and coming artist from the lovely city of Los Angeles. His latest, self-produced release “In The Morning” certainly caught my attention as it’s sounds like a mixture of Outasight, Asher Roth and Kid Cudi. Definitely dope and worth a listen. - Fresh|Grind

"Mina Knock I NEED YOU"

I’m feeling this new chilled out track by MC Mina Knock, featuring Katie McCabe. This heart felt hiphop ballard stands out from the crowd, with it’s nostalgic undertone, reminiscent of an old country song. Grab the DL…. - Freshtronic

"Mina Knock – In The Morning"

Whether it’s the ambient beat, the catchy feel to the hook, or the smooth delivery from Mina Knock – this track has me addicted. Far superior to most new hip-hop with similar subject matter, this LA based emcee proves he’s got some skill, not to mention this is the unmixed preview. - Taste That Bass

"Mina Knock – I Need You Ft. Katie McCabe"

Mina Knock is back with another amazingly fresh hip-hop original that features a soulful beat and vocals. Perfect music for recovering from last nights debauchery’s, this one is an easy listen and appropriate for those who have their mind on a relationship with that special someone. Happy New Years to everyone out there – hopefully you have a relaxing rest of the day. - Taste That Bass

"New Rapper To Keep On Your Radar: Mina Knock"

For all of you rap music lovers out there looking for something new to bump on your iPod, I’ve got just the thing for you. If you haven’t already heard of “Mina Knock”, it’s about time you get acquainted with him before he blows up on the music scene. He’s an incredibly talented twenty-one year old rapper from Los Angeles and an AWESOME dude. Just yesterday, he released a 5-song EP called “The Door Must Be Closed At All Times” and it is pure gold. Luckily for all of us, you can download it for free RIGHT HERE! So get it while it’s hot….and before you have to start paying the big bucks to hear this guy! - Cosby Sweaters

Bio

L.A. based hip-hop artist Mina Knock released his self-released, six-track EP The Vista on August 21st, with an official premiere on VIBE Magazine. VIBE describes Mina Knock as an artist with a classic flow and raw lyrical delivery. The Vista, produced by electronic prodigy STINT, is the result of a perfect balance of influence from hip-hop legends like 2pac, Eminem, The Game, Big L, Notorious Big, Jay-Z, unmatched precision production from STINT, and Minas seamless, untouchable flow.

The Vista pays homage to the rappers hometown, Mar Vista, ensuring that Mina has poured heart and soul into his latest EP. At just 22-years old, Mina Knock has proven himself as a contender on the rise in the urban, hip-hop genre and has nowhere to go but up. Mina consistently receives tens of thousands of plays on his official Soundcloud page, and with several big projects coming up in the near future, the attention is well deserved.

In the future, Mina has more in the works with STINT after such a successful product from their work together on The Vista. Mina also plans to work with successful electronic producer Clinton VanSciver, an artist recently signed to Dim Mak Records, and We Bang, L.A.-based dubstep producer that consistently dominates Beatport charts with his tunes. The Vista is just the beginning of the magic that Mina Knock has to offer.

"To me hip-hop, is a dying brand... Something I'm trying to revive. I don't want to bring the old school back but I don't want to join the new school either. I've got my own style, I got my own team and we got our own swag. Im sure you can hear a little bit of all the greats in the shit I'm creating. I'm here to make music that's relevant, and the Hip-Hop that I'm making is art."
