Jason Cerda is the definition of a new era of music. His new R&B/Pop/Latin fusion has left every one of his fans anticipating his new project.

A D.C. native, Cerda combines his Puerto Rican roots with todays popular beats to make each single better than the last. Hes not just known for his amazing vocals, though. His high-energy shows and gravity-defying choreography have made him one of the most memorable performers to come from the DC metropolitan area. Singing in both English and Spanish has given him the ability to reach a wide fan-base all over the world. Jasons beautiful smile and charming eyes have not gone unnoticed either giving him the title of one of DCs sexiest bachelors.

Cerda started performing at 5 years old by participating in school talent shows and vocal contests. He has always looked at Michael Jackson as his biggest role model and has been working many years to perfect his craft. Needless to say, Jason is a showman and can capture the attention of any audience. He is often compared to todays top stars, Usher and Justin Timberlake with a Latin mix of Enrique Iglesias.
Having been raised by a hard working single mother, he has always had the mentality of reaching high and never giving up no matter what. Jasons relationship with his mom is one of the biggest reasons for his passion and love for music. He says, My mom hands down has always been my #1 fan. Shes sacrificed a lot to help me make my dreams come true. I want to make her proud and give back as much as I can. And hes done exactly that so far.

Till the Last Beat, Jasons first album was released at the end of 2010 receiving more than 120,000 downloads and views for Special to Me Pt. 2, his albums most popular track. This amazing album launched his first international tour in Tokyo for the summer of 2011.

Last year, though, was one of Jasons biggest production years so far. Having collaborated with one of the best German producers, George Stapel, and mastermind engineer, Carlos Cepeda, Jasons continuous club hits have made their way into a continuous play amongst the DC nightlife DJs. One of the biggest music sharing sites, IMVU.com, featured him as their number 1 downloaded single for the track Cheating with the DJ in the summer of 2012. Shortly following his number 1 title, he released his music videos Addicted and Addicted Remix which received more than 400,000 views in just one month!
Whats to expect for the summer of 2013? After a radio feature on DCs top radio station Hot 99.5, and a sponsorship by one of the biggest international fitness programs, Cerda is set to launch a national tour to promote his new album, The Transition. His recent debut on Fox 5 Morning News has left everyone wanting more of his catchy music and passionate performances!
