Biography
4DSEA first came together in 2002 under the direction of Guitarist/Composer Stephen Cee with Bassist Braden Schecter and Keyboardist Miko Tanimoto. Lead Vocalist Arie Thompson joined the band in late 2004. Throughout it's changes, 4DSEA has always been making heartfelt and mind-melded Rock music that is strongly rooted in Funk and Soul. Influences include Jimi Hendrix, Living Color, Chaka Khan, the Blues, Aretha Franklin, Parliament, Peter Tosh, Stevie Wonder, and Rush. Our grooves make you move and our lyrics make you think. What sets us apart is our musical versatility-- Cee, Schecter, and Tanimoto are accomplished musicians with jazz backgrounds as well-- coupled with the definitive sound and timbre of Thompson's lead vocals. We cover ground between songs, but the continutity of our vibe and sound guarantees a great ride for the body and mind.
