Biography
So, some A-holes from Phoenix think that they can take over the world? That they can change music for ever? DO something different from everyone else? Well, That’s not 5 seconds fast. 5SF is 4 lazy 20-something A-holes from the boring desert of north Phoenix. The bands ambition to become the biggest thing in rock, has slowly rotted away with each bottle of Coors Light. What the band is really after is to show the world that it's possible to still make regular rock and roll without having to be labeled as "emo", "screamo", "metal" , "hard core" "pop", "pop-rock", "post industrial new metal hardcore" , "power punk pop" "Grunge" and most importantly, "Lame". the band thrives on making enemies with other local bands (though not intentionally), having at least one band member performing on stage wasted at each show, and seeing who in the crowd they can insult the most without getting punched. The Band has a truly unique friendship with one an other and it is truly a "4 against the world” mentality. The band has set out to prove to everyone that you don’t need a gimmick to be a great band, that rehearsing just kills spontaneity, guitar solos (gasp!) are not evil, and mascara is not manly (sorry, it's not). So, go ahead and like us if you want, hate us like everyone we meet or ignore us like the rest. But don't deny the power that is 5SF. To read about the history of the band go to our website.

We have a full two hour show, that we interchange our songs. sometimes we get tired of the same set so we have about 8 songs that we rotate with or typical set. We also have 6 songs that always get played, that are just solid crowdpleasers. Also, we have a handfull of fun coversongs of cool oldies that everyone remembers, Tom Petty etc...
