Artist Information

Biography

Known for their incendiary live shows with bursts of vintage style rock and roll and led by a singer-guitarist eerily evocative of dead 70's icons; the Beauvilles have traveled far and wide across the 48 states, playing hundreds of shows, dozens of festivals, throwing guitars haphazardly across stages, wine at audiences and whisky on themselves.

What originated as a house band for underground warehouse art parties in the southeastern United States have become one of the region's most recognized independent touring acts. From collaborating with members of Badfinger, ignoring phone calls from RCA records, inter-member onstage violence and loaning their old guitar amps to Grammy Winning artists for recording sessions upon kind request; the Beauvilles have had a storied few years on the road since 2009.

In 2011, with no warning or reason given, the band's single, "Snow" appeared on every demo I-Pod and I-Pad, just under the Beatles in the Apple brick-and-mortar stores all across america.

"Snow" now currently has over 30,000 plays for it's music videos, (view here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruLI2eK14pA) and has been featured on multiple bootlegged compilations on blogs internationally.

2011 took the group up the East Coast of America several times to their college market strongholds in New England and the Southeast, and out to Texas during SXSW where they headlined/were featured for several performances, notably a two night run at the Spiderhouse, and a line-down-the-block capacity crowd at the Liberty in East Austin.

As a support act / opener with: Deertick, the Warlocks, Sundress, Reptar, the Drive By Truckers, the Growlers, Soundtrack of Our Lives, the Black Angels, Okkervil River, the Porcupine Tree, Bright Light Social Hour, John Langford (Mekons / Waco Bros;the Beaus were his backing band), the Electric Six, Jon Doe (of X), Exene Cervenka (a big fan), Castanets, Alejandro Escovedo, the Whigs, Dead Confederate, Centro-Matic, King Khan and many many more.

Recent festival dates with: the National, Broken Social Scene, Girl Talk, Bad Brains, and many many many more.

The Beauvilles recently have entered in representation for 2012 with Nimbleslick Artist Agency, and have their new record on 2" Analog Tape in production with Drew Vandenberg at Chase Park Transduction (Toro Y Moi, Drive By Truckers, Deerhunter) for release & national touring in early 2012.
