BIOGRAPHY
While most teens his age are preparing for college entrance exams and doing high school homework, young Adero juggles a hectic schedule packed with photo shoots, piano practice, dance rehearsals, studio time and performances for audiences of thousands of people.

Adero Neely is a special type of emerging artist. This budding Urban, R&B, Pop artist plays the piano and has an impressive resume for his age. He is no stranger to radio, television or the stage. His name, Adero means “Give Life” and Adero has been collaborating with other artists and producers since he was 10 years old. He is taking the world by storm one rain drop at a time! With each live performance, Adero infuses his seemingly infinite energy into his songs. Nowhere is his exuberant outlook expressed better than when he sings. He might be just a teen, but his musical ability shows experience, passion and wisdom coming from a place far beyond the date on his birth certificate. Referred to as “boy wonder” by Chicago’s media press at an early age; you may notice this is not your ordinary newcomer. For one thing, this fresh-faced Urban, R&B, Pop singer is only 18 years old and a senior in high school.

Adero’s music has hit radio stations in the United Kingdom, Canada and various markets in the United States, including his home town of Chicago on Power 92, WGCI and B96 Radio. Adero made his first music video in 2005, “Save Some World for Me', which was selected by Swept Away TV, a nationally distributed teen music/pop culture TV show seen in 42 markets( including NYC, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta and Phoenix and is estimated to be available in 19 million households). UNSIGNED Music Magazine and KCSG television also featured Adero’s music video for their music television show that broadcast to over 150,000 homes via cable and 500,000 via the Dish Network. Adero has also been featured in GUMBO Teen Magazine, WORD UP Magazine, numerous issues of Hip Hop Teen Magazine and True Star Magazine just to name a few.

This budding artist is systematically drawing music lovers of all ages to take immediate recognition to why he is called the boy wonder. At 12 years old, Adero was also the opening act for sold out crowds for the 'New Jack Tour' featuring R&B singers Aaron Hall, Guy, Teddy Riley, Black Street, Tony Toni Tone and After 7. Adero has also opened for Soulja Boy at 14 years old, and Trey Songz at 15 years old. Adero was the showcase artist for the Chicago Football Classics in 2008 at Soldiers Field, the spotlight artist for BET's Blaze the Stage at Symphony Hall in New York in 2009 and was the Chicago Bulls special guest artist as he performed at many of the Bulls special charity and Holiday Events. Recently Adero was the featured artist for Diggy Simmons Pre-Concert party and Jacob Latimore's concert in Chicago.

  Chicago, IL./Gary, Indiana. Chicago's own, 15-year-old Adero Neely is scheduled to perform in Gary, Indiana, the birthplace of Michael Jackson, at a special tribute to the native son on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the U.S. Steelyard Stadium, commonly referred to as Rail Cat Stadium. The tribute will start at 6:00 pm. Admission is free. Adero is the youngest R&B/Pop artist to be played on Chicago radio since the Jackson Five. He has been singing Michael Jackson songs since he began his singing career at the age of 10-years-old. "I love Michael Jackson's work. He has a profound influence on aspirations. He also taught me to enjoy my childhood while I can", said Adero.
  
  The Tribute is called A Tribute to Gary Native Michael J. Jackson. The tribute, which is free, starts at 6:00 pm.

  According the biography on the Gary website, Jackson was born to a working class family on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. His father, Joseph Jackson had been a guitarist but he put his musical aspirations aside to provide for his family. He believed his sons had talent so he molded them into a musical group in the early 1960's.
  
  The musical group initially consisted of the older brothers: Tito, Jermaine and Jackie. Michael joined his brothers when he was five and the youngster emerged as the lead singer for the group. His older brother Marlon joined the group and it evolved into the Jackson 5.

  Michael showed amazing range and depth for a young performer, which as also noted by Motown legend Smokey Robinson in the Michael Jackson Memorial at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Jackson was able to convey emotions far beyond his age.

  Gary has proclaimed pride in their native son. Michael Jackson died suddenly of cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. Fans have been gathering at his childhood home to pay homage since news of his death. "I never Michael would have departed us during my childhood. He will always be my standard for excellence and I will grow up slow and have as much fun and as many laughs as I know he wanted all the children of the world have", said Adero.
