ROSE COUSINS' NEW PROJECT IS ALL ABOUT COLLABORATION...
Award-winning Canadian songwriter Rose Cousins has been frequenting Cambridge Massachusetts since her first performance at the legendary Club Passim in 2003. Over time she has become an adopted local, and a central collaborator with area artists.

For her new recording project, Cousins assembled the many fine artists and musicians who have inspired her in Boston over the years. Everyone converged at Q Division studios in Somerville MA for a three day revival of sorts, and without rehearsal or planning, they did what they all do best - make music together.

Local modern art photographer and cinematographer Asia Kepka documented the entire process on film and photography. In early 2012, Rose will release a new album (to be sold in digital and CD formats), with a companion DVD video short film documentary.

The Collaborators
Producer Zack Hickman along with Austin Nevins & Sam Kassirer (who all play in Josh Ritter's Royal City Band), songwriters Rose Polenzani, Kris Delmhorst, Mark Erelli, Jennifer Kimball, Laura Cortese, Amy Correia, Ana Egge, Edie Carey, members of Session Americana Billy Beard, Dinty Child, and other incredible multi-instrumentalists Sean Staples and Charlie Rose.
