Biography
Twirl is an edgy blend of Alternative/Modern Rock & Pop Punk. Twirl are rockers who write songs that are a bit punky and snarky with pop sensibilities twisted and mingled througout that spit out catchy tunes. Twirl who hail out of Toronto has been garnering fans of all ages from around the world by having their songs licensed in film & Television shows in as much as 75 countries.

Twirl is one of those bands that are perfect for TV and film. The reason why we picked "Get Up and Dance" is because the production, the vocal track, the lyrics and the melodies were perfect for the Disney TV series we were working on and what was being asked for.
Listen to how fun the song sounds and how perfect it can fit to many different scenes on film. When an audience hears a song for the first time on a TV show, that song has to catch that person's attention right away. This song is a perfect example. You don't need to hear it 5 times before it grows on you.
So far "Get Up and Dance" has been placed on two Disney TV shows and more of Twirl's songs are sitting in the hands of other music supervisors.

Neal Busby, has a long history in the Canadian rock scene. In the early 90's he was drummer for Canadian hard rockers SLIK TOXIK. As a contributing songwriter Neal and Slik Toxik went on to achieve GOLD selling status and win a JUNO award for "Hard Rock" album of the year in 1991. More recently Neal was touring drummer for veteran classic rockers APRIL WINE.
Huguette, has been writing songs since the first day she picked up a guitar at the age of 12. Among her instrument arsenal is also the flute which she learned to play on her own. Ultimately Huguette's Strength is her powerful dynamic singing and unique songwriting/ lyrical ability. Twirl combines each other's strengths to bring out what is best for the songs they compose.
