Biography

Pillar of Autumn explodes on stage with the fury and attitude Rock music was intended for. As individuals, they grew up from the Detroit area's music scene, gaining influence and acumen. Together, they've honed their skills to create entertaining and energetic performances, truly personifying the essence of a Rock band. This high energy, combined with vocal hooks and heavy guitars, keep the venues packed and fans demanding more. A cult following nationwide on the overly-saturated DetroitCity.com and MySpace.com shows a glimpse of their full potential. Their first single, Asthma, vaulted them to #1 on DetroitCity.com within 2 days of its release, while subsequent releases have kept them amongst the top rated bands on the site ever since.

With the upcoming release of their EP, "Burn This City", the band is focused on developing a unique brand for fans of all ages to connect with. Recording with producer Chuck Alkazian of the 116 Production team at Pearl Sound Studios in Canton, MI has opened many doors for them. Pillar of Autumn aims to push their material out to satellite, college and FM radio while touring and developing licensing contracts with television and film industries. Pillar of Autumn is currently looking to expand with help from additional management team members, record labels, and investors to increase national marketability.

What they don’t see is the enormous amount of talent in the mist. We know of a group that stands above the crowd. A band like this is a true diamond in the ruff. You’d expect to see these guys in New York, or maybe California. We found them in good old Detroit, Michigan. The band “Pillar of Autumn” has some serious kick ass songs and has more on the way. Make sure you listen to “Carpe Diem”.
