  The Lunar Rollers have released their debut CD, “Hangin’ the Moon”. After receiving wide praise the ...The Lunar Rollers have released their debut CD, “Hangin’ the Moon”. After receiving wide praise the Rollers have spent the last few months hitting the trail promoting the new CD live.
  The debut album features a broad spectrum of Americana-Roots-Rock music written by three great songwriters, from the melancholy “Mr. Snowman” to the driving, jiving, “One Kiss” and the smooth “You’re My Hero”. Texas venue owners have said The Lunar Rollers have “catchy vocal melodies and hard hitting beats” and the band is “a catchy, fun and entertaining band that’s clearly on the rise.”
  Though the band is the newest brain-child of Texas Singer-Songwriter Jim Ray Wyly, The Lunar Rollers are loaded with "First Class Musicians" from the Austin, TX music scene. Jim Ray Wyly -Guitar & Vocals, Lew Andre Mathews-Guitar & Vocals, Gil De Los Santos-Drums & Vocals, Kelly Wilkerson -Keyboard & Vocals, and Mike Johnston-Bass & Vocals.
  The Lunar Rollers wrote, recorded and engineered the E.P over a 6-month period. The Lunar Rollers are an independent band, currently looking for a management agency to snap them up. “Hanging the Moon” is available at MyTexasMusic.com, CDBaby.com, at all live performances, and at a few choice Austin record stores. “We are pumped to be releasing new music”, said Jim Ray Wyly, The Lunar Rollers leader. “The whole process has been incredibly fun and I’m sure that this new CD will please our fans in a big.”
  The Lunar Rollers will be performing December 22, and January 3 at Baby Acapulco’s (Austin, TX), January 5 at The Edge of Town Saloon and Grill (Pflugerville, TX), January 12 at Papa Woody’s (Paige, TX), and January 19 at Texas Bar and Grill (Austin, TX).

  Jim Ray Wyly can't be boxed in, he's country, he's folk, he has a blues-edge, there's some rock and ...Jim Ray Wyly can't be boxed in, he's country, he's folk, he has a blues-edge, there's some rock and a lot of Texas. After playing for several years with "Movin' Target", he decided to try to walk down some new avenues and concentrate on some of his songwriting. He's hoping to soon release a new record, actually that may be two, or three; there are always several projects going on. Tonight he will be premiere his new band the Lunar Rollers.
