When Lindy had her first professional experience in a recording studio at age seven, it was a novel event. Now, more than 20 years later, it's a regular occurrence. She has been recognized for multiple awards as both a vocalist and as a songwriter, and she is one of the only women in the area who is leading a three-piece band as a singer and guitarist. "All of my musical deities do more than sing – they sing, play and write their own material, so I've never been satisfied with the notion of doing only one of those things, myself."

With influences like Ani DiFranco, Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow and Sarah MacLachlan, Lindy has always set a high bar for her live performance as well as for her writing. Lindy is most often found playing the local scene with her band, The Red Velvet Manx, but her solo performance is where she started and it remains a staple of her musical resume. Having performed as a solo artist for more than 15 years, Lindy is an expert at reading a crowd with the confidence to command the room and the sensibility to know when to work in the background to compliment the audience experience.

Having between five and six hours of cover material spanning from the 60s to current across genres such as rock, pop, funk, folk and country in addition to her original repertoire, she can tailor a performance to suit a variety of needs, and both her solo and full band performances come complete with her sound man if needed. Upon request, an additional band member may be added for performance as a duo.

Lindy and her band, the Red Velvet Manx, are sculpting out a style all their own with a tight rhythm section, deeply poignant lyrics, and unmistakable vocal acuity.
