Biography

It has been said when you know your why, the what, how and when can happen. The why is, because we were created to do this, it’s stokes our fire, it brings peace.
The what is, that our words and actions will show that Jesus is real and the Bible is relevant for everyday life.
The how and when are, taking every opportunity to share song, stories, comedy and share the experience of past, present and hopes for the future.
Our hope is that our songs will communicate to others that God is real and that we can know Him in a personal way.

Mended Vessels music is an eclectic blend of music styles ranging from ballads and praise and worship, to rock and jazz, with textures reminiscent of Nora Jones, Third Day and Watermark.

Their original songs reach out and connect with people at different places in life and flow from the heart giving you the feeling that you are being invited into a cozy living room to curl up on a comfy sofa or dance around and tap your feet with a close friend and hear their heart.

Instrumentation

Valerie Bailey- lead vocals, background vocals and piano
Bryan Bailey-vocals and guitar

At this time, we have drummers, percussionists and bass players that fill in based on schedule availability.

  One of the hardest aspects of learing to follow Christ is the concept of "letting go" and allowing G...One of the hardest aspects of learing to follow Christ is the concept of "letting go" and allowing God to truly be Lord of our lives. Bryan and Valerie Bailey of "Mended Vessels" encourage us to take our faith and trust in God to a new level through their acoustic rock CD "Letting Go". It is obvious from the very first note of this CD that there is more behind these songs than just music. The Baileys have a genuine desire to minister to and encourage their listeners. The music is just as powerful as the message, however! Mended Vessels is a solid acoustic rock band which very ably delivers the meaningful lyrics without distracting from them. The strengths of this band are Valerie Bailey's strong voice, the tight vocal harmonies, and the driving acoustic guitar which undergirds many of the songs. "Who Is The One" and "Follow Me" are memorable worship tracks which bring us right into the throne room of God. Thank you for blessing us with your ministry, Mended Vessels!
