Justin Goodrich (born December 17th, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter, actor and screen-writer/director whose music often lends itself to mid-tempo, minor key and broodish ballads with theatrical arrangements, dark, metaphorical lyrical content and a noticeably '60's crooner-esque vocal delivery. He has independently released three official EP's since 2011; the first two, "A Revenant Affair EP" and "Fallen Angels, Tears of Stone EP", most notable for being solo-acoustic material performed loudly and aggressively, and for their video-accompanied singles "Deeper Inside" and "Love You Still" shot by Disasterous Film. The third EP, titled 'Mad Musings In The Manic Miserium' was released October 31, 2012 and is know for it's lush, layered production and genre bending contents, making a sharp left-turn from his first two, solo-acoustic releases. The album was accompanied by the dark, city-based story-lined music video for the single 'Last Stop'. A new solo-acoustic LP has been recorded and will be released Fall of 2013, containing acoustic renditions of tracks from his last non-acoustic EP and a cover of the Garbage song 'Tell Me Where It Hurts'.
Justin has made several appearances at small, notable local venues such as Hard Rock Cafe Boston and Coolidge Corner Theatre Cambridge, MA in February '12 where he joined The Betsi Feathers burlesque troop as a musical guest in front of a sold-out crowd, performing his songs 'In The Night', 'Deeper Inside', a series of '60's covers and a duet with dancer Jazz D'Moan to Chris Issak's 'Wicked Game'. In October '11 he performed the song 'In The Night' via Skype on the popular web-hosted video podcast NSFW, gaining his most popular selling song since 2005's "I Love You In Roses" made popular by it's performance in the Community Alliance for Teen Safety Battle of the Bands hosted by Godsmack's Sully Erna at Lowell Memorial Auditorium (during Justins senior year of high school).
Justin had a small role as Undergrad #2 in the Disney film "The Surrogates" in 2009, and in 2010 was cast as the haunted boy in the SyFy original made-for-TV movie "The Haunted Boy: Secret Diary of The Exorcist", filmed at Rolling Hills Aslyum in E. Bethany, NY, which was featured in the first season of Ghost Hunters. October '12 see's Justin taking over writing, acting and directing duties via Diorama Records in the creation of the currently in-production short-film tentatively titled "The Trouble With Others" about a well-read man struggling with social inadequacies and a haunting past.?
Justin Goodrich has written articles for Diorama Records and Infectious Magazine, as well as being the audio production, mixing and mastering engineer at Diorama Records.

It’s no secret that Infectious Magazine loves acoustic musician Justin Goodrich. There is something ...It’s no secret that Infectious Magazine loves acoustic musician Justin Goodrich. There is something charming about not only the man behind the music, but the music itself.
As patrons pile into Boston’s Hard Rock Café, and Goodrich takes the stage, I’m faced with a pretty sizeable crowd. Familiar faces, and soon to be fans, the Hard Rock is anything but desolate on this Friday night.
Audience interaction is high as he kicks off his performance and makes sure to include them in humorous jokes, and personal anecdotes. Throughout his 45 minute set, consisting of both originals and covers, there’s never a dull moment. From fans dancing to his song “In The Night” to audience members recording his set-it’s no surprise they want to walk away from this night with captured memories.
At one point during a cover of Elvis Costello’s “Alison” I hear a man whisper to his friend “24….he’s 24” in disbelief. However the disbelief doesn’t end there as soon after comes another moment in which Goodrich himself is caught a little off guard, as a fan rushes to the stage to request an older song of his. Graciously, Goodrich obliges and launches into “With All My Heart” gaining even more audience attention throughout this poignant song.
As the night comes to a close, audience members rush over to Goodrich as he leaves the stage. Handshakes and hugs, compliments and admiration are easily handed out-and why shouldn’t they be? As always, Goodrich has performed brilliantly.

Through the release of his third album, A Revenant Affair, Goodrich captures his audience in a most unique way, while demonstrating his innate musical ability.
With each track, Goodrich’s voice brings a captivating new level to his music-a territory well covered by melodic guitar and beautifully incorporated keyboard. It is almost as if he is serenading his audience. With lyrics such as “”Deeper in between the arms of love and hate, lies buried beneath the stains of your regret.” It’s easy to get swept away into this artist’s mind and melodies.
Other personal favorites from A Revenant Affair include “Loving You Is Killing Me.”, “In the Night, “You, My Love”, and of course, the above mentioned “Deeper Inside”, which provides rather touching inflections within the song. But it doesn’t stop there-each track is a new exploration through various chords and lyrics. Truth be told, the album had me hooked from beginning to end.
Throughout the album, I’m never once bored-and I believe that’s what makes it so unique amongst other acoustic albums out there. It is also incredibly versatile, with both an array of hopeful, charismatic melodies and a much softer side-one which allows for relaxation and reflection.
With three albums already under his belt, and a DVD release of the documentary The Haunted Boy: Secret Diary of The Exorcist, in which Goodrich plays The Haunted Boy (Oh yeah, did we mention this musician can also act?) it’s no wonder he has already secured future projects. Among them is Conquest Pictures’ sophomore film, The Pact, directed by Rob Fitz. Their first release was titled “God of Vampires” and was released internationally.
With all this talent, and new projects in the works, it doesn’t look like Goodrich is slowing down anytime soon-and we can’t wait to see what he has in store.
As a solo acoustic artist, I adapt to any stage and crowd of any size, atmosphere and mood. (And can also have a 3-5 piece band.)
My set lists can range up to several hours worth of original material, or cover material. With covers, I typically like to perform popular songs from the 50's through the 90's, with a special focus on the melodic, catchy and crooning.
-Example Set List:-
Alison (Elvis Costello cover)
In The Night (original)
This Magic Moment (Jay & The Americans cover)
Deeper Inside (original)
Just Like Heaven (The Cure cover)
In Between The Panels (original)
Love You Still (original)
Jockey Full of Bourbon (Tom Waits cover)
Last Stop (original)
(I like to mix originals and covers to make it fun for everyone, myself and the audience. But I can adapt to the requests of the venue or crowd.)
