Biography

Esnavi, {pronounced es-nah-V}, an International 'Top 40' recording artist, hailing from Milwaukee, now residing in New York City, is on her way to becoming the next big thing to hit the music industry. Esnavi is...Eclectic, Soulful, Natural, Authentic, Vivacious, Intriguing. She is soul, hip-hop, pop, blues and jazz...a musical journey. A universal artist, with a voice so captivating and soul bearing, when you listen to her; you feel every word that she sings. Her first worldwide release, EXIT E, in which she co-wrote with producer Michel Kunz, is receiving critical acclaim as one of the best albums by an independent artist this year.

Esnavi is an extremely talented singer/songwriter inspired by real life situations, society and imagination. She began performing at the tender age of 3 and began writing songs and poems around the age of 8. Although she always sang as a child, while listening to artists ranging from Stevie Wonder to Cyndi Lauper, it wasn't until she was in high school that she realized she was destined to become a professional artist. After graduating from high school, she began recording and performing with Top Floor studios in Milwaukee. After graduating from college, she moved to New York to pursue her singing career. In 2005, she completed recording her first project entitled, Uncommon Ground, while working with Fulani Hart. Although it was never officially released on a label, it made quite a buzz on the underground scene, and Esnavi began making her mark as an artist.

Now she's back on her mission to revive the music industry with her sound and blend of music, while delivering songs with passion, depth, and consciousness. Her purpose as an artist is to enlighten people, to touch them, to give them a different perspective on how they look at life, look at love, and look at themselves. Esnavi is focused on not only being a successful artist, but also an influential one. She is a true artist delivering a refreshing sound of music for our generation.
