Biography

What do you get when you combine passion and God-given skill- none other than the artist DaRil. A New Orleans native, Damon "DaRil" Nailer serves as a prolific entertainer and creative songwriter. He possesses excellent showmanship as a performer and as a songwriter he is a genius when it comes to utilizing descriptive lyrics to tell stories and paint vivid mental pictures for the listener. He is very skilled at relating and connecting well with a wide range of audiences. He has conducted 100s of shows at elementary schools, high schools, colleges, juvenile correctional facilities, coffeehouses, religious institutions, awards shows, conferences, showcases, malls, TV shows, concerts, festivals, senior citizen programs, fraternal organization functions, and business seminars. Some of his major accomplishments include appearing numerous times on television shows, receiving heavy rotation on local, international, and internet stations including Pandora, performing at the Holy Hip-Hop Awards Showcase twice, being chosen as a finalist in the nationwide Hottest New Artist Competition,being selected to be a part of the Holy Hiphop Volume 6 CD and being chosen to be a part of the Supercuts Rock the Cut Artist Ambassador Program.

As a recording artist Daril has four CDs under his belt. Recently, he released his fourth entitled Conception & Rebirth, which is a unique and versatile project because it is full of heart felt (real) music that identifies with a diverse audience. From old to young, poor to rich, black to white; Conception & Rebrith has a mass appeal. It is composed of twenty-two tracks that will take you on a musical journey while providing thought provoking stories, inspiration, and energy.

In the opinion of those who have heard some of the songs, this CD is a must get. Already, this project has brought Damon "Daril" Nailer international acclaim. As of 2013 DaRil is in the process of recording his fifth LP entitled Triple Threat which will be composed of various collaborations that will include rap, acoustic, R & B, and contemporary Christian. You can check out the first single "Make Em Say" that features DaRil, Yung Jody, and Classik.

In addition to being an entertainer, Daril is also a motivational speaker and author. He is a former member of Toastmasters' International with 16 years of speaking experience. As an author, he has published an eBook entitled The Great Taste of Success, which consists of divinely inspired proverbial sayings and matching stories that provide wisdom and insight concerning personal enhancement, spiritual growth, relationships, gifts(talents), destiny, positive thinking, and success.
