Biography

After 30 years of writing songs, Joe Travers has a lot to sing about. Two of his tunes, “Art of War” and “Call It America” are riding high on Neil Young’s “Songs of the Times” list, and “Call It America” has been honored by the Peacedriven Songwriting Awards. His song, “Without Love” was selected as one of the Top 10 Inspirational Songs on TV’s “Alive with Clive” and Clive Swersky, the host, called Joe “an undiscovered national treasure”. Larry Oakes, founder of Singer/Songwriter Sessions - NYC said, "Joe is truly a classic…refreshingly keeping the 'old school' alive”. Karen J. Brady, of Celtic MP3s Music Magazine, has praised his "amazing originals".
