Biography

"Music is life." For Majestic the saying couldn’t be more than true. Influenced by Dennis Brown, Bob Marley and his aunt, music has always been a part of the Jamaica native’s life. Mixing reggae with hip-hop, R&B and rock Majestic has been perfecting his craft for years.

Majestic’s new reggae album Unbreakable is a perfect mixture of reggae combined with hip-hop, R&B, dancehall and rock and shows what he has to offer as an artist. The self written CD contains powerful songs on topics close to Majestic. He sings about the negative forces that try to stop the Rasta man’s tradition of living life with Jah love in his heart and directs the lyrics towards those who do not know what life is really worth. The pulsating rhythms enhance the prayer like lyrics of Majestic’s songs. Unbreakable gives off positive vibration as Majestic sings of his attraction toward the queen in his life and how their love for each is unbreakable.

The Godfada Rankin' Scroo, Krystyle’s breakout rapper Don C. and others lent their musical talents to Majestic to help him create Unbreakable and spread of his music through a nontraditional reggae style. The popular single “Borderline” is a mixture of reggae, hip- hop and rock. The merger of the sounds appears to be a favorite for listeners and helps him reach more listeners with his message of love and Jah.

On top of his new CD, Majestic has been keeping busy with the many new projects. Currently he is working on creating music videos for his singles and putting together an unforgettable show. Show dates are being finalized for Jamaica and Europe. Besides working on his music, Majestic has also been busy perfecting his acting career. He has appeared in underground independent films such as “Rude Boy Jamaican Don.” Other rolls are currently in the works.

Majestic is an artist on the raise and more can be expected of him in the time to come. Always providing unbelievable performances, Majestic’s reputation is sizzling and his name is on the tip of everyone’s tongue.

  Raising artist Majestic’s (b. Clarence Thompson) soon to be released CD, Unbreakable, continues the spread of his powerful message and gives fans a chance to enjoy his artistic ability. The self written CD contains powerful songs on topics close to Majestic.   Tracks such as “Like a Child” are aimed to move the listener to spread Jah love universally. “Like a Child” is a melodious tune that reminds one to be meek like a child and in Majestic’s words, to "let the power of the Most High set you free." Single "Mama Africa" connects Majestic to listeners of African heritage as he sings about his desire to go back to the land his ancestors were taken from. "Don't let them separate us / don't let them bring you down / Mother of all nation no one else would wear your crown / Look to the east and I see myself / too long I been away / no more will I rome / All I know in the western world / it's a living hell / and I cry / I'm coming home".
  
  The Godfada Rankin' Scroo is an artist who is featured on the album. He lends his voice and DJ style on “Gun Shots”. In Majestic’s interlude to the song he voices how he branched out to a different "spice" of music for the track which is Krystyle Records style.
  
  Unbreakable also features Bay Area Reggae artist Wadi Gad. In the single “In My World” the soulful duo aims to stirs spirituality in human conscious by revealing that one must have compassion for one another and to love their neighbor as their brother.
  
  Like other reggae artists, Majestic made a crossover with rap on Unbreakable. New breakout hip hop artist and fellow label mate Don C joins forces with Majestic on two tracks. Don C is an up and coming rapper with a distinct voice that blends well with Majestic’s. The two combine their talents for the upbeat “Borderline” and title track “Unbreakable.”
  
  Don C’s involvement on the CD helps Majestic expand the spread of his music through a nontraditional reggae style. “Borderline” is a mixture of reggae, hip hop and rock. The merger of the sounds appears to be a favorite for listeners as the song has received positive feedback at shows. Majestic feels that compilations with artists from different genres will help him reach more listeners with his message of love and Jah. Unbreakable is the starting place for the continuing merger sounds and where Majestic’s career should to take off.
