Biography

Born- April 28, 1987
Lives on Long Island, NY. For a few months during the year, resides in Ithaca, NY.
Rock Music Influences- raised on the Beatles and Lennon. Others include Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd and Zeppelin. Later influences include Nirvana, Radiohead, Weezer, DMB.
Musical Background- Began to hum/sing in the cradle, got his first drum set at age 6, father taught him guitar buying him his first Fender Stratocaster at age 10. Classical piano and violin instruction. Started writing songs in 10th grade Attended sessions at Berklee College of Music.
Guitars Played - Gibson ES-335 1963 reissue, Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS, Fender Precision Bass, Taylor 414ce Fall Edition, Carlo Robelli Ukulele, Also owns a collection of other guitars including Fender, Travis Bean, Matrix and others.
Guitar Amps Used - Fender, Marshall and VOX
Favorite pedals - vox wah wah, ibanez tubescreamer

  New York , NY- Nest Egg Music has launched the first rock interactive flash animated website http:/...New York , NY- Nest Egg Music has launched the first rock interactive flash animated website http://www.tedrosedale.com for a new rock artist Ted Rosedale . Ted's debut album "Home" was released last week. Mike Owen, President of Nest Egg Music said "we wanted to create a unique website experience, something that was as special as the music it compliments. Ted's music and song writing talents are amazing-so the website had to be special."
  
  The website http://www.tedrosedale.com is the first site ever to integrate the music of entire album into an interactive visual/audio experience. The website features a surreal dark world with Ted sitting under a bare -lifeless tree. With a click of your mouse on a branch of the bare tree, a 20 second audio clip of a song from the album begins to play and the website starts to come to life with color. That particular branch starts to flower and grow leaves. If you listen to the entire 20 second clip, an animated character appears which relates to the song played. Play all 11 audio clips and find all 11 aninmations. Find the burning luggage, the flying angel, the beast, the ice cream mountains, the clock with time going backwards or make it rain. There is so much to do that you could spend 40 minutes on this site before seeing it all.. The site animates differently, depending upon which songs you start with.
  
  The site also include a photo gallery with stars that float. Even the photo gallery on the site is fun.Click on the stars and pictures of Ted appear. There is also an interactive music CD blog. There you can read about how the songs were written and listen to the entire CD. You can even watch a video on how one of the songs was produced in the studio. Guitar enthusiasts can check out Ted's guitar solos from the album on the Link page. On the site you can send a Ted Rosedale e-Postcard to your friends.   I've just sat through some awful crap, with poor quality recordings and not too much work put into the songs and it's a huge felief to listen to something good! The quality is great and I like the Alice in Chains style harmonies. The mix is spot on and there's a great drum sound. God Bless you for saving my ears from the other crap I had to review.

Currently with around 70 original songs, Covers are always being added. In the past, Crossroads, Sweet Little Sixteen, One After 909, You Can't Do That and many other rock n roll tunes.
