Silvermine, CT’s Chris Berardo & The DesBerardos have spent the last several years touring much of the country, playing hundreds of shows with the likes of The Doobie Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, David Allan Coe, Levon Helm, Dickey Betts, Little Feat, NRBQ, Molly Hatchet, Badfinger, Kevin Welch, Reckless Kelly, Blue Rodeo, Brave Combo and many others, as well as countless appearances as headliners everywhere from top-notch listening rooms to beer-soaked bar rooms.

Their 2003 CD, “Pure Faith” (Lamon Records) burned up College, AAA and Americana radio, and also appeared on the year's Grammy Ballot for Best Rock Album.
The most recent Lamon Records release, "Ignoring All The Warning Signs", out on February 27, 2007, rose to # 49 on The national Americana Chart, # 15 on The Roots Music Report and was in rotation at over 90 stations in the U.S.
It also sat in the Top Ten at XM Radio’s X Country channel for two straight months, peaking at # 4 for two weeks, and appearing as the # 34 CD for the entire year of 2007.
No less an authority than Robert K. Oerman called it, “as good a country rock record as you will hear this year!” in Music Row Magazine.
It appeared on the 50th Annual Grammy ballot in the category of Best Contemporary Folk / Americana Album in 2008.
Cut over five days at dLab Studios in Charlotte, NC, the 10 Chris Berardo-penned originals (along with a version of one of the band's live staples, the Wilco chestnut "Passenger Side") are a representation of CB & The DB's fiery live performances, renowned among their fans for beautiful acoustic moments alongside the wild rockers and whiskey-laced jams.

  "Chris Berardo embodies everything I love about popular music - a pleasing voice, beautiful melod... "Chris Berardo embodies everything I love about popular music - a pleasing voice, beautiful melodies and hooks, well crafted lyrics. Shades of The Eagles and Poco combine with a Southern rock sensibility, creating a fresh sound unlike the usual cookie cutter country-rock of today.
  The rocking “Everybody Swings Around Here” is an immediate pick for my favorite track, but truth be told, I love the whole album, from the melodic “The One", to the top 40 country “hit waiting to happen,” “So Good So Far,” it’s all good.
  Chris Berardo is a very good songwriter with an obvious gift for crafting melody lines and home-spun lyrics and his vocal reminds me at times of a more controlled Drive By Truckers sound - familiar, but less garage band/Stones thrash. “Never The Same” is another memorable track, as is the infectious ”I Will Love Again", and the bluesy “Barstool", complete with a very cool a capella opening verse from Berardo.
  Pedal steel, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and harp co-exist with acoustic and electric guitar in a beautiful tapestry of sound. Nowhere is it more evident than in the album’s final track, “September Prayer,” a beautiful new point of view on the 9/11 tragedy.
  Berardo and his band have crafted a fine album that should garner lots of attention. We can only hope. It’s better than 90 percent of the music on today’s country radio."

Setlist

Often do 30-50 minute set (openers or multi-bill show) as well as a full night when required, 3 1/2 hours, usually two or three sets.
Can mix in choice re-worked covers - Midnight Rider/The Allman Brothers, The Weight/The Band, Whiskey River/Willie Nelson, Heart of Gold/Neil Young, Ticket To Ride/The Beatles, etc ... according to the room and crowd.
Can play an all-acoustic show (with memebers ranging from 2-6) as well as full acoustic/electric.
