Home to the Chicago-land area, LUCREZIO carries their alternative style, intertwining both drive and ambience, through the powerful vocals and piano undertones of Jennifer Lucrezio, the alluring lead lines of guitarist, Jordan Bumgarner, the driving impact of the bass, and the unique rhythmic strength of the drums. The formation of LUCREZIO took place when Jennifer moved her small-town, east coat aspirations to Lake Michigan’s bright city lights, and found three musicians willing to take her humble creations and transform them into the high-energy yet captivating allure that they hold today.

With their newest release, Storybook, LUCREZIO put out a project not only musically driving but lyrically piercing. Emoting not just a feeling of escape, but a movement of time. Storybook proved to be an album for both realists and dreamers, like any true story, and initiated a great response even leading up to its release. With the initial buzz set in place, Storybook has the potential to infiltrate the mid-west music scene, and beyond, as a playlist staple. Don't write off the band as just another pretty voice. Singer Jennifer Lucrezio brings dramatic power to the songs and bandmates Jordan Bumgarner and Dave Fowler fill in passionately. Jennifer's piano complements her voice wonderfully where appropriate but my favorite tracks are full of steady drum beats and ringing guitars.
  
  Music fans that enjoy well-written lyrics will like Storybook as will those that like a variety of intimate arrangements and those with a little more bite. The songs are mostly straight-forward, telling a story in each. The separate parts come together as a delightful whole. While listening you'll get the feeling that you could become good friends with these musicians and might even picture them playing a set for you in your living room. Storybook is heavy on independence and Do-It-Yourself which in the end equals a great listen and a band that just might be going places.
