Biography

Nathan Peek is a singer/songwriter who has been playing for over a decade in southeastern venues that promote and feature original music. Best described as 'deliciously unpredictable', Nathan's music peppers storytelling with grab-your-heart lyrics and styles ranging from Americana to Roots Rock to Country to whatever else he and his band may be feeling at the moment.
Accompanying Nathan in his band are guitarist/vocalist Alfie Chambers, guitarist/vocalist Hank Jones, bass guitarist Matt Marsh, and drummer/vocalist Ross Young.
The Nathan Peek Band released their first cd entitled Best Kept Ruin in 2003 and released their second cd entitled Stale Wine, Loose Ends, and Porcelain Hearts in December of 2005. Their latest cd entitled Sore Thumbs was released in December of 2007 which has received praise from fans alike and is currently in heavy rotation on college indie-music stations in their home state.
The Nathan Peek Band has been named a top attraction by The Birmingham News and continues to see a growing fan base with every packed show. There is no doubt that the unmistakable originality of Nathan's song writing combined with the raw energy of their live performances makes the Nathan Peek Band one of the very best live acts to see.
