Nathalie...

Indeed her first love has been and will always be singing. In elementary school, she discovered and played brass and various wind instruments such as the baritone sax, trumpet and tuba amongst others. However, Nat is most known as a vocalist.

Having received classical training she developed a solid foundation by singing in choirs and performing at different events such as weddings and variety shows. Over time, she earned more and more confidence and experience by working in recording studios which led to some personal milestones like singing the Canadian national anthem at the inauguration of the Bell Center and even performing on Musique Plus’ Karaoclip, Much Music’s sister station in Québec.

With SEVEN, Nat brings out her Motown, soul, rhythm & blues roots not to mention a touch of her colourful personality which is the icing on the cake!

" Si sa passion première a toujours été et reste toujours le chant, Nathalie a quand même eu l'occasion, dès l'école primaire, de faire l'apprentissage des cuivres et de quelques instruments à vent comme le baryton, la trompette ou le tuba, entre autres...

Mais c'est surtout comme choriste et soliste qu'elle se fait davantage remarquer. Nathalie ayant une formation classique, elle découvre les rudiments du métier en chantant dans des chorales, des mariages, des spectacles de variétés... Elle y gagne en confiance et en contrôle en travaillant dans des studios d'enregistrement, et elle prend de plus en plus d'expérience, jusqu'à chanter l'hymne national à l'inauguration du Centre Bell, et participer à l'émission Karaoclip, sur les ondes de Musique Plus.

Avec Seven, elle sait faire ressortir ses influences Motown, soul et rhythm & blues dans le son du groupe, avec ses couleurs bien à elle... "

Richard...

Rick originally began as a percussionist and after dabbling with both the guitar and keyboards, it was as a bass player he joined the ranks of his first band – Oftenlate. Keep in mind he had never touched a bass at that point! They had a great 3 year run where they won 2nd prize at the « Concours Musique en Fête » during the “Rendez-Vous Estival ‘92” in Ville Le Gardeur, for Best Original Song.

In recent years, after being, shall we say, “musically inactive”, Rick’s dream of building his own home studio has come to life and he has since re-launched his musical career so to speak. He also wanted to start a new band - with a little help from a few friends, he founded SEVEN.

" C'est d'abord comme percussionniste que Richard a fait ses débuts. Par la suite, après quelques rudiments de guitare et de clavier, ce fut à la basse, instrument sur lequel il n'avait pourtant jamais joué (!), qu'il joignit les rangs du groupe Oftenlate (non, non... leur nom ne vient pas de son patron!...), avec qui il jouera pendant trois ans et gagnera le 2e Prix du Concours Musique en Fête lors du Rendez-Vous Estival 92 à Ville Le Gardeur, pour la meilleure chanson originale.

Après avoir consacré le plus clair de son temps, ces dernières années, à réaliser un vieux rêve, soit celui d'avoir son propre studio maison, Richard monta par la suite, avec quelques complices, ce projet de groupe qui deviendra Seven... "

Marc ...

For Marc, being a musician is a vocation that has been passed down from father to son in his family. The eternal student, Marc had learned his art through the teachings of Mario Roy for a period of 5 years.

In 2002, he performed and recorded an album in Russian with the band G.L.A.Z. After a few collaborations with other bands, he joined this group of musicians who are very passionate about what they do to form SEVEN and contributes to a rhythmical chemistry that does not leave you indifferent.

" Marc Prévost a de qui tenir... Être musicien, c'est une vocation qui s'est transmise de père en fils, chez lui. Éternel étudiant, en perpétuel apprentissage, il fut élève de Mario Roy, qui lui transmit les rudiments de la batterie pendant cinq ans.

Avec le groupe G.L.A.Z. en 2002, il enregistra un album en langue russe, en plus de faire quelques concerts avec eux.

Après quelques collaborations dans d'autres groupes, à gauche et à droite, il se joint à une bande de passionnés de la musique pour former le groupe Seven, et contribuer à élaborer une chimie rythmique qui ne laisse pas indifférent... "
