Biography

Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Performer, Mr. Melody began playing music in primary school band and has continued the art. An upcoming quality vocalist destined for success, Marquis Melody is recently releasing a groovin' Roots Rock Single tilted "Hearts of Fire." Previously Mr. Melody released a roots and culture singles titled "Miserable" and "Do You Know."

Marquis has been performing his solo debut album project titled “Straight From the Heart” and select cover tracks at West Coast USA venues with the Majesty band. The album features a variety of reggae music culture styles including Lovers Rock, Roots, Culture and Dancehall recorded in part at Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica. Crowd favorites include roots & culture single release "Sunshine" and "Tree Of Life." Be on the lookout for some great uplifting music by Marquis Melody!
