Biography
Forming over four years ago, the band is comprised of five of the most diverse creators of metal. Ranging in different influences such as Death Metal, Speed & Thrash, Power Metal, Black Metal, Punk Rock, Hardcore, Glam Rock, even Hip-Hop & Rap. This is the very reason this diverse and eclectic group of musicians can make such richly textured and creative music.
Left in Ashes has been fortunate enough to share the stage with so many influential and legendary bands such as Obituary, Hate Eternal, Cryptopsy, Cattle Decapitation, Strapping Young Lad, Vital Remains, Testament, Macabre, Soilent Green, The Autumn Offering, A Perfect Murder, The Agony Scene, Misery Signals, Into the Moat, Reflux, Body Count, Goatwhore (Members of Soilent Green), Unholy Ghost, Remembering Never, The Absence, Yeti, Royal Anguish, Vampire Mooose, snd Sleeping by the Riverside.
Left in Ashes recorded a three song EP with Musician/Producer Erik Rutan, (Hate Eternal, Alas, Ex-Morbid Angel) of Mana Recording Studio in Tampa, Florida. The EP was recorded in May of 2004. Know Your Enemies, My Demons, and Torn Between Two Classes are the tracks on the CD. Left in Ashes also recently released a self produced video for My demons which is available in DVD format.
Left in Ashes has received some heavy airplay on Tampa's local Metal show on Cacophony 88.5 WMNF on Sunday nights. After nearly three years of playing shows, Left in Ashes has gathered quite a large following of fans in the Tampa Bay area ranging from all ages and backgrounds.
