Ali Harter, 26, is a singer/songwriter from Choctaw, Oklahoma. Playing in bands or as a solo musician for the better part of twelve years, Harter is a veteran in the international music scene.

After signing and later parting with several Oklahoma based companies in the winter of 2005/2006,
Ali quickly began working entirely as an independent artist, doing the job of a record label, a booking agent, a promoter, and a tour manager. A work ethic that coined Harter's personal motto, “No bees, no honey. No work, no money.”

Harter's first record, 'Worry The Bone', was released independently on June 15th 2007, in collaboration with Little Mafia Records. It is currently sold out in the US. 'Worry The Bone' was re-released in Europe in 2008 on Toujours Plus/Paradigme Prod, and is available in stores throughout France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Since the release of 'Worry The Bone', Harter has toured tirelessly for three years, completing nearly 15 tours of France, Belgium, Italy, and Switzerland, as well as countless tours of the United States.

Music from 'Worry The Bone', has been used in a number of independent films including Mickey Reeses', 'Le Corndog Du Desespoir'(2008), and Sterlin Harjo's, 'Barking Water'(2009). You can also see and hear Ali perform on the new season of OETA's original home improvement television show, 'Utopia Joe'. Harter recently had two songs, 'Untitled No. 3', and 'You Can Keep 'Em', featured on an episode of ABC's 'Greys Anatomy' in March of 2010.

It the summer of 2009 Ali began a collaboration with French DJ Wax Tailor, and New Orleans native MC, Voice. Harter co-wrote and sang on the single, 'This Train', off the now gold selling record, 'In the Mood For Life', released in September of 2009. Since the release of 'In The Mood For Life', Ali has opened for and performed with Wax Tailor on numerous occasions at concerts through out France. The most recent concerts included two nights at the prestigious L'Olympia, where the live dvd for 'In The Mood For Life' was filmed. The dvd is set for release 2010/2011.

In her down time between working and touring internationally, Harter found time to record and release her second full length record, 'No Bees, No Honey', in collaboration with Little Mafia Records. The album, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered in Choctaw Oklahoma by Matt Dylan Street, features over a dozen Oklahoma musicians including Samantha Crain, Mike Kennerty of The All-American Rejects, Daniel Foulks of IIIrd Generation Blue Grass Band, Camille Harp, Chris Forman, John Moreland, and Chase Kerby, Josh McCleskey, & Sammy Mitchell of The City Lives, to name a few. Since the album's release in March of 2010, Harter has been touring non stop in support of the record.

Harter's plans for 2010/2011 include touring the US non-stop, two tours of Europe in July and November, an extended re-release of 'Worry The Bone' on vinyl, a release of 'No Bees, No Honey' remixes by several international artists, numerous duets and collaborations to be announced later, and to begin recording her third full length record.

In her travels, Ali has been fortunate enough to share the stage with such acts as: John Mayall, Meg and Dia, Magnolia Electric Co., Steel Train, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, War of Ages, Flee The Seen, and has shared festival billing with the likes of The Flaming Lips, BB King, Leon Russel, Ben Harper, Tori Amos, PJ Harvey, Amos Lee, Limbeck, The Black Crowes, Cake, The Black Eyed Peas as well as many others.
