Phil and the Osophers are a 3 piece band from Brooklyn NY via San Francisco CA. It shows. Their sound combines the surfy-ness and sunshine of California with the swagger and force of New York. The band has released 6 full length records, 2 EPs (including last year's "It's Christmas Time With Phil and the Osophers), and a 7". They remain true to lyricism, all members of the band have published either poetry or non-fiction. Like true philosophers, they aim for the foundation of which novel musical ideas are built upon. Look out for more releases by the band in the upcoming months!
