Biography

Neenah Taylor has been turning heads with her amazing talent since she was 7 years old. The strength of her voice is matched only by her magnetic charm on & off stage. At her young age,she has already been an opening act for R&B stars Trey Songz and Angie Stone. She has also won prestigious events like the Atlantic Records Showcase Competition and Uplifting Minds II Entertainment Conference competition. Neenah’s acting career is soaring as well. She has been featured in commercials for Toys-R-Us, Chrysler and Apple Computer. She can also be seen on the cover of “Style” Magazine.
Most recently, Neenah had a leading role in the feature film “Sister Switch,” starring Kadeem Hardison. Neenah’s music is featured in the film as well! Neenah is currently recording her debut CD in LosAngeles.

The sweet and talented young lady has been turning heads since she was 7. But now at 11, the heads that are turning are entertainment industry executives who have felt confident enough to place her as an opening act for major artists, in television and print advertising, and in feature and industry films.
  
  Though talented in all those areas, what stands out most is her unbelievable powerful vocals. Neenah Taylor has performed as opening act for such artists as Trey Songz at the 2006 Hip-Hop Summit, and Angela Bofill and Angie Stone at African-American Heritage Festival. Her performances were even honored with a citation from the mayor of her hometown Baltimore.
  
  Neenah has won numerous competitions such as the national Uplifting Minds II Entertainment Conference’s talent competition showcase and the Atlantic Records Showcase Competition. As a result she has been interviewed on WJZ, WBAL and Fox 45 television stations. She has even belted-out her vocals at the International Festival where she opened the event singing the “National Anthem” and “God Bless America.”
  
  Young Neenah, has appeared on a long list of advertisings for such companies as Toy’s R Us, Daimler Chrysler, Apple Computer and CarMax. She has appeared in films such as the Dolby Digitals 2006 film, Failure to Launch. Taylor has also appeared in industry films for such companies as Kaiser Permanente and American Red Cross.

  Neenah performs at Baltimore International Festival
  
  (Baltimore MD-August 3, 2006) Neenah Taylor, the eleven year old singing sensation from the Baltimore/Washington area will perform at the Baltimore International Festival (www.baltimoreinternationalfestival.com) at Poly-Western in Baltimore Maryland on Saturday August 5. She will open the festival performing the National Anthem at 11:45 am and will perform on the Cultural Showcase stage at 12:15 PM.
  
  The International festival is a free festival sponsored by Mayor Martin O'Malley’s office, and will include performances by Ashford & Simpson, Average White Band, Mighty Sparrow, The Iguanas, Steve Forbert, Unity Reggae Band,The Donegal X-Press, Big Daddy Stallings, Image Band, Cyril Neville, and Bettye La Vette.
  
  Neenah will also be performing at War Memorial Plaza with the Unity Reggae Band on Friday Aug 4 at 12:15 PM where there will be a promotion for the next days events.
  
  Neenah Taylor has delivered her memorable vocal talents in performing in numerous shows. Besides delivering her live performances Neenah has been in the studio working on her original material for her CD. Neenah has appeared in several national commercials, a variety of print campaigns, and will star in two movies, Sister Switch by Director Torrance Colvin with 24k Black Films (www.24kblack.com) and the Invisible Man by Director Mark Rodgers. Both movies begin filming this month.
