The Solitary System is a duo from Wilmington, DE that has been shaking up the music scene with their pop punk dance themed music that is sure to make you do what music is supposed to do... TSS has only been together for almost a year and is already being featured on 97.3 WSTW in DE, and The Capital Rock Show Radio Podcast, in Ontario, Canada.
The Solitary System has also Placed 2nd in the Bodog Battle of the Bands Semi finals, has just played the mainstage to a crowd of over 500 plus at the Millenium Music Confrence in Harrisburg, Pa and our currently coming off an awesome break having there song Beautiful Nightmares featured in a commercial for the Toyota FIJI. The Solitary System will be performing at Citizens Bank Park (Phillies Stadium) on August 11th in front of a crowd of Thousands for Garry Maddox's BBQ Challenge before the Phillies Braves game. Also Stay tuned for The Solitary System to be featured in a nationally distributed magzine called URBAN MAINSTREM. The Solitary System will be featured in issue 27.

  It looked like a summer night at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach Saturday night for the close of the...It looked like a summer night at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach Saturday night for the close of the Delaware Music Festival. Although organizer Vikki Walls says attendance was down about 10 percent because of the weather, it was hard to tell last night since the place got pretty packed. Original music is overshadowed by cover bands on just about every night in Delaware -- except last night.
  Come with me for a quick tour of the final night of the festival...
  7:45 p.m. -- Here is a Wilmington band that Walls plucked from Myspace. They are called The Solitary System and that's one of the band's two members, David Sanchez. The guys have been together for a little over a year, spending almost all that time recording. With a 4-song EP all done and the album in its way, they are beginning to play clubs two or three nights a week.
  Here's the other half of The Solitary System -- Brandon Hilkert. The band had a pop/punk thing going on, but unlike other bands, they have a prerecorded dance track that they play on an iPod with each song. "We were tired of dealing with all the personalities and schedules," Hilkert says of the reason why they do everything on their own. "We wanted to do something different and hopefully get a little attention." Well, it worked. And if you see they are playing, I'd recommend checking them out. (FYI -- they will be at Dewey Beach's Popfest next weekend)

We like to change it up.. We like to keep it new, We want to you never be bored.. Come check us out, get hooked like everyone else. We can play 30min to Hour sets.
Our Draw in numbers is usually 25 to 30+ people, with more people becoming addicted w/ each show.
