Biography
Allen Mathews is one of the fine guitarists residing in the northwest today. Allen plays through out the northwest both solo and with various ensembles. Though continuosly trained classically, he blends a multitude of influences into an original and multi-faceted soundscape. His love of succinct melody and harmony in music mirror his appreciation of simplicity and efficiency in life. In addition to perfoming, Allen also teaches privately and at Lewis and Clark College, and leads an active and healthy lifestyle.
