Biography
ETK consists of E_P (Elusive Prey) and C.I.N (Christ Is Nice) we hail from Memphis TN and our goal is to help everyone Enter The Kingdom of Heaven by using our music as a ministry to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. We felt as if there was a void in todays music. Currrent hip Hop is mostly shallow and celebratory of false values and self-destructive lifestyles. The decline of the conscious rap movement and over-commercialization of Hip Hop left that void. There is a contrast between the original message that was delivered in early hip hop and the current generations idea of what Hip Hop is. Influenced by current events and the persecution of todays church, we decided to takes a bold stand and fill that void as we glorify "HIS" name by sharing the gospel using hip hop to reach both secular and non-secular audiences. Positive lyrics and Holy Hip Hop is the way we want to show the world you can have great music, solid lyrics, and awesome performances that speak about religon and life. We hope our music will connect to the inner consciousness of the listener and help them relate to and overcome their daily obstacles which may prevent them from walking upright.
