Biography

NEW FOR 2011!! - Digital iCaricatures created on an iPad can be projected live on a wall or screen (from 3ft up to 100ft wide!) so that everyone in a room can watch them being drawn! Black and white drawings take about 2 minutes, color takes about 5 minutes. Relative to Adam's 1 minute caricatures, this does mean less people may be drawn but more people will definitely be entertained. The drawings can be printed and emailed on site immediately (electricity and wifi is needed for email). Drawings will also be hosted on a Flickr site where they can be downloaded and viewed by those being drawn. Each drawing comes with the Flickr URL and written permission to use the drawing for personal use. People are then encouraged to get them professionally printed, make copies for family and friends, put them online, share them on Facebook, use them for business cards, Tshirts, keychains, etc... iCaricatures are also the same price as hand drawn!

ADAM HAS BEEN SELECTED TO SHOWCASE FOR EVERY NACA AND APCA SHOWCASE HE APPLIED FOR SINCE 2007. (He no longer applies for showcases because he found he was drawing almost all of the attendees on the same day of the conference when he showcased)


Adam frequently got sent to the principal for drawing friends and teachers in class. His principal encouraged him to think about a career as a caricature artist. In college, Adam joined the freelance program and started walking around, drawing in hyper-crowded, barely lit restaurants, bars and nightclubs for tips and realized the faster he drew the more tips he could make and the better the pictures came out! Being self taught, nobody told him that this was crazy. Being an easy going guy, he got along just fine.

Because of his unique background, Adam is comfortable in situations that would inhibit other artists and entertainers from performing. He usually books by the amount of guests expected and is committed to draw and entertain every single one of them.

For extremely large events, or if Adam is already booked, several additional artists are available that Adam has trained. Only the fastest, friendliest and most talented artists in the country are on Adam’s backup list. Just 2 artists should be able to draw over 100 people per hour! Adam is also fully insured.
