Biography
Tulla's Headspace was founded by Laurie Alberts. She took the name Tulla from a character she created in a mass multi online role playing game (mmorpg). Coincidentally, it's also the name of a town in Irland. But the "headspace" is all Laurie's.
Armed with a somewhat eclectic collection of original songs, Laurie teamed up with producer D.M. Gremlin at D.M. Gremlin Productions in Long Beach, CA and recorded the self-titled debut album, Tulla's Headspace.
The album features heavy guitars, grinding rythems and powerful, melodic vocals in such songs as "Left", "So it shall Be" and "Picking a Flower", contagious lyrics in "My Life, My Place", "My Star" and "The Overwhelming", topped off with an acoustic version of "My Life, My Place" and the hauntingly emotional song "Fire"
