Biography
Originally from the UK, Ian has been playing music since he was 11 years old, and writing and performing for the past 16 years. Performing regularly around Auckland and recognised as a notable writer/performer. Ian's powerful vocals and passionate delivery leave a distinct impression with the listener.
He has achieved Finalist status in the He won the Diablo Singer/Songwriter 2007 competition in Ponsonby, Auckland taking top honours amongst 30 contestants from around the country.
Recently he performed on Auckland City Council's Music in the Parks programme for the 2nd year. Last year he released his debut single, "Easy Lover" on iTunes, which achieved a Finalist status in the internationally coveted UK Songwriting Competition.
He has been having a busy NZ Music Month (2009) performing around his local area in original band nights as well as singer/songwriter showcases.
