Fusing American style rock and raw psychedelic fury with influences as dark and diverse as metal, delta blues, death rock, The Misfits, Hendrix, the Doors, the Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Elvis, and Johnny Cash, "Rock'N'Roll Villain Society is rapidly emerging from the San Francisco rock underground.

Known for their explosive live performances, powerful songwriting, and the dark cutting-edge Hendrix-inspired guitar work of lead vocalist and guitarist Jay Skyler, they are the first of a shameless new breed of 21st century Rock Stars.

Explains Skyler:

" Our goal has always been to produce rock music that combines the pick it up and play the hell out of it spirit of 60's acid rock with the intensity and defiance of modern punk and metal.

Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society: Danzig-era Misfits meets Jimi Hendrix with a sexy touch of Nick Cave in a dark landscape of wickedly sarcastic 'love' songs and B-Horror movie soundtracks.

This band has the talent to construct catchy hooks,with unique song structure. All this mixed with dark,yet strange lyrical content. Talented musicians indeed hold this masterpiece together. Part of my job as a dj,is to filter out all the worthless wannabe's. RadioStar SF gets consistant airplay on The Crawlspace,because their music deserves to be heard!

  Before you know it, you will be humming the choruses of “Buried Alive”, “Spacewolf”, and “Puppy” ( T...Before you know it, you will be humming the choruses of “Buried Alive”, “Spacewolf”, and “Puppy” ( The theme song for a horror movie of the same title ) as you go about your daily routine, and there is no way to stop it from eating your brain and taking over your soul unless you seek out these songs and listen to them over and over. If I were to make comparisons, I would say that RADIOSTAR SF’s style invokes the spirits of a wide array of groups from THE CULT to MISFITS to Joe Wood era TSOL to REVERAND HORTON HEAT to THE DOORS, and the list goes on. If you are a fan of Horror movie style punk/ rock-n-roll, then this three man outfit from San Francisco is definitely one to keep an eye and an ear out for. You think I’m bullshittin? Just check them out….you’ll see.
