Biography
nadina, pittsburgh native, began playing the piano at age five, often playing along with her father's accordion and dancing siblings. it all began in a basement full of eastern european energy...
nadina now plays harp, vocal chords, piano, organ, and synth. her writing is heavily influenced by her classical/jazz/sacred music training, though her lyrical expression alludes to existential philosophy, psychology, spirituality and post modern thought.
"Nadina was given a small Celtic harp...rather than learning Irish Trad music...she just simply started playing the music she already had coming out of her on this new instrument, creating her own folk-rock sound," Novak, Michael. (2006, April 23). http://novak-freek.livejournal.com/202591.html?view=1067359#t1067359
