Biography

The band plays mostly instrumental songs, most of them composed by Wagner Cinelli. The styles are many: baiao, bossa nova, choro, easy listening, jazz, and latin. Wagner started piano lessons at the age of 6. He studied music with Charles Freeman, Stuart Soffer, Bernard LaDue, Carlos Delmiro, and Paulo Moura. Wagner and drummer Carlos Abrantes were members of "Hein?" Band in the 80's (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). Wagner Cinelli & Band have been playing in theaters and nightclubs in Rio de Janeiro.
