Jimmy Whisper's thoughtful lyrics and silky smooth delivery reminds listeners that there should
be absolutely no boundaries or guardrails when it comes to making music. Combining many genre's, JimmyWhisper's unique style of psychedelic beach music is an artful blend of jazz, blues, samba, folk, and reggae that brings hope to the masses that good, quality music still exists.
Jimmy Whisper's debut album "50ft Woman" is a wonderfully constructed ode to sex, love, women, and the beach. His current single, "Cold Champagne," has been drawing rave reviews on such sites as myspace.com and cdbaby.com. One critic going as far as to say, "Jimmy Whisper is to this century, what Brian Wilson was to the last."
Jimmy Whisper is James J. Partridge, former frontman for the band Forelle, best known for winning MTV's first Best Band On Campus competition. Aside from being featured on MTV and MTV2, he and his former bandmates were chosen to appear on the hit compilation album, "Advance Warning." Jimmy Whisper is currently beginning to record music for an upcoming album with a tour to follow.
