3/15/07 Al-Ce-Mi's EP has been released for sale on I-Tunes, Real RHapsody and on the Micorsoft's Zune player.

- Al-Ce-Mi selected by Evolution Promotions for Digital distribution to all licensed online radio stations; including being added to Live365's Music Library for radio programmers. Commercial ad will be airing across the Live365 Radio Network for 30 days to be timed with upcoming EP release. Al-Ce-Mi will also be included in the ŒLiveWire‚ Newsletter sent to 94,000 DJs and listeners. Evolution Promotions gets songs directly to the decision makers at online radio including XM, Sirius, Music Choice, DMX, AOL, Yahoo, Live 365, Shoutcast, NBOX, SWCast.net, DJUnion and others thru a digital delivery system.

- Al-Ce-Mi song "Singing Frogs" selected by **No Cover Magazine** for inclusion on their forthcoming compilation CD, "Groupies Suck Vol. 9". **5,000 CDs** inserted and shrink-wrapped in Magazines distributed at all Barnes and Nobles around the U.S. Past participants include: Hed(pe), Kottonmouth Kings, Strung Out, Funeral for a Friend, No Use for a Name, Mower, and many more [Unwritten Law confirmed for this CD]. Bio:

Like the alchemist that fuses together elements to make potions, this band combines the sounds based in the Los Angeles streets—the underground subculture of freaks, wannabes, scenesters and hip cats. Al-Ce-Mi carries the torch of the last hard-core scene in Los Angeles, but combines the underground culture of psychedelic trance to create this new sound. Al-Ce-Mi is here to represent and bring a scene back to Los Angeles that has not been seen since the days of Motley Crue. The hard edge melodic sound is strong on its own, but combined with the magic of the digital world makes Al-Ce-Mi a new, top contender to rule the wasteland known as L.A.

  Whether he is in the classroom or writing lyrics, Josh Gregory's purpose is the same. "I use emotional topics and emotional presentation to stimulate thought in people [to bring about change]," he says.
  
  Gregory, a communication lecturer at Cal Poly, writes and sings for his band Al-Ce-Mi when not in front of the classroom.
  
  He pursued teaching because of the importance of the profession-hoping that he could make a difference in students' lives. Gregory believes it is important for students to recognize themselves in relation to other people and question the answers they come up with.
  
  Despite his enjoyment of teaching, music is really where his heart is. Gregory's interest in music began as a young boy pretending to be a member of a rock 'n' roll band while listening to his parents' records. Make believe became reality some 20 years later when, just out of high school, a friend asked him to be the singer for his band. The group was short lived, but Gregory realized he had vocal talent.

Brian Scott embodies the true spirit of East Los Angeles by the way of Hawthorne, Nevada. He provides a heavy driving beat based on those of Bonzo and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, but has the flair of Danny Carey to create the hypnotic trance like state of the ancients. He combines stylish soulful rhythms with a heavy machine like backbeat. Brian's love of bands like Pantera and Mudvayne really shows through in the way he attacks the drums. Nyro is straight from the street and compliments the heavy back beat with his thick funky ass bass rhythms. He is the wild man that combines soul with funk and takes it to the far reaches of the universe to make up the style he brings. He has strong jazz soloist qualities and cut his teeth on the rhythms of rockabilly. He is part jazz man and the one that left his stand-up bass behind. He has come with Al-Ce-Mi to Los Angeles to spread some thick rhythms. Ryan brings the techno vibe to the surface—his flow of sound provides the proper mood and setting for the cognitive journey of the mind. He represents the L.A. only known to those in the dark corners and accepted only by the creatures of the night. He is the key bearer to those locked rooms of decadence. The style of Al-Ce-Mi lies deftly on the shoulders of Edward Barrett—his hypnotic riffs and devastating power push the envelope of the corporate sound. His evenly balanced combination of Navarro and Page bring the modern to the past creating a postmodern fusion of sound. His ideal combination of style and power provide Al-Ce-Mi the solid foundation to break from the pack. Edward comes from the south and is ready to revolutionize your psyche. Ray Mendez is our “street cred.” the man with the weapons and a plan—and he is not afraid to use them. Ray is the swordsmen of the band and he carries an axe—Ray comes from a long pedigree of musicianship a mixture of true tribal heritage combined with the cool combination of the Jazz artist he truly depicts the essence of Al-Ce-Mi. His expertise is only matched by the pure power and energy he delivers. The likes of Ray have not been seen in Los Angeles in sometime. Josh—the active participant from the crowd. He is part tribal dancer and part conductor with a passion for the vibe. He has the ability to capture the audience with magical incantations and mesmerizes those to his will. His voice is a potent paradox between angst and love. He supplies the bravado and swagger of the band Al-Ce-Mi—it’s just this side of being cocky. With a no-nonsense approach to songwriting, Al-Ce-Mi’s members pull from many styles of music to create one intense ride.
  
  The band, comprised of Josh (Vocals), Ned Barrett and Ray Mendez (Guitars), Nyroh (Bass), Brian Scott (Drums) and Ryan Gregory (Samples) leave no stone unturned while exploring elements of old school and nu-metal, hardcore, punk, electronica and even jazz.
  
  You can hear evidence of this culmination on songs like “Diminishing return” with it’s hard driving guitar riffs, locomotive pace and frantic chorus in which the vocals plead to be returned to a better place. There is also the track “Singing frogs” from the same self-titled EP. Armed with fuzzed out guitars and a Faith No More-like chanted chorus in which vocalist Josh vehemently tells the listener in the opening line, “Just because I am from L.A., doesn’t mean I owe you anything” grabs your attention by the ears and doesn’t let go!
