Biography

Vayizaku (pronounced "vah-yee-zah-koo") means "to call out" in Hebrew, and this is exactly what this band aims to do. Vayizaku's latest record, the 52-minute "We'll Always Remember" is now available on all the digital music stores.

The music contained in this thirteen song CD is addictive, unforgettable pop punk, seemingly influenced by bands such as Screeching Weasel, The Queers, and Green Day. Once you've listened to songs like "You Know How I Roll"and "Welcome to My Nightmare," they are stuck in your head and difficult to get out. On "Ocean," Albert adds some shimmering piano and wave sound effects to the intro for added "water" effect. He even punks up the melody to "Battle Hymn of the Republic" on "Solidarity Forever." Finally, a band has come along that found a great sound and was able to put it down on an album. The catchy and bouncy guitar riffs on the opening track "You Know How I Roll" hooked me into this album and I was sold from there on out. The songs are catchy, fun, simple, three chord punk rock-n-roll with enough spunk to separate them out from the pack of all the negative garbage out there right now. This is Vayizaku's typical set list. It can range anywhere from about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on breaks between songs. Only one song ("Solidarity Forever") is a cover.
