Artist Information

Biography

It's all happening for this New Zealand indie songstress.
Quietly winning fans after unanimous critical acclaim for her debut release Lucky One, it's Miriam Clancy's second album Magnetic that lit a fire beneath her underground following, gaining highly coveted reviews and elbowing its way into quite a number of Best Music Of The Year lists from industry critics.
Recorded in spare bedrooms, a concert chamber, 3 studios and a remote island with a cache of vintage gear, strange instruments and uber tech Andre Upston, Miriam made an album that is intimate and volatile; mainlining a poetic thread while hanging her heart well on her sleeve.
Beautiful. She's one to watch.

"A voice to move mountains. One of NZ musics' best kept secrets." Russell Baillie, NZ Herald
