The Suborbitals

Genre: Rock
Secondary Genre: Alternative Monterey, California USA Contact

Dangling hooks in the deep green sea of melody, the Suborbitals catch shiny songs in the rhythmic cross-currents of weird and hip, pop and rock. Their undeniably original songs about death, sex, drugs, recovery and love are surpassed only by this Monterey, CA band's unforgettable live shows.

Artist Information

Biography

We're four thirty-something guys who've all been in bands our entire life. Our weird, catchy, sax-drenched outfit is composed of a Berklee school alum, a major-label vet, a well-respected Nashville session player and a poet who writes intensely unique, unforgettable and well-crafted songs. We started the band for fun but now have simply gotten too good and outgrown Monterey. It would be a tragedy for The Suborbitals not to be heard on bigger stages. As a result we've decided to take it out of the county and play wherever and whenever we can simply out of a deep, abiding respect for the music that has emerged from our unexpected and unlikely collaboration.
