The Hannahband is a modern pop/rock group based out of Knoxville, TN. After signing with Sound Knowledge Records in 2006 the band released their debut CD "HANNAH". They have enjoyed performing on a national stage with Teddy Geiger, Diana DeGarmo (American Idol) and are currently playing venues in the Nashville and Knoxville area.
Following airplay on the east coast and a film award for their video "Say You Love Me" and an International Songwriting Finalist for the song "Because You Broke My Heart" The Hannahband released their new EP "The Hannahband" in January 2008. Hannahband has also signed with New World Artist Management in Nashville, TN.
Along with a very strong mainstream music genre, The Hannahband has led worship at many churches including Church of God, Parkway Christian Fellowship, Trinity Chapel, Beech Grove Baptist and Real Life Church for many years. www.thehannahband.com

Instrumentation

Hannah (vocals, keys) A gifted singer and songwriter who began performing at age 9 with her dad at weddings, nightclubs and festivals has now been recognized as a world class vocalist by the music industries top A&R professionals.

Elijah (guitar, vocals) A premier guitarist and co-writer for the group. His virtuoso style and writing ability are a key part of the HANNAH music collection.

Noah (drums, vocals) Performing and recording since age 5, Noah's talent and experience won him the Guitar Center "Drum Off" award and is a featured part of The Hannahband.

Sound Knowledge Records in 2006 with airplay on
100 radio stations on the east coast. The new EP
"The Hannahband" has been released for 2008 as
an independent by the band for radio and fans.

  Knoxville, TN-based Hannahband makes me smile. The band is composed of siblings Hannah, Elijah, and ...Knoxville, TN-based Hannahband makes me smile. The band is composed of siblings Hannah, Elijah, and Noah Seiple but don’t get the idea this is just another family band. These kids are tight with their instruments, impressive on their vocals, and pretty darned good songwriters to boot. Their 2004 debut, simply titled, “Hannah,” only hints as the fire and passion the band has poured into their current 5-song EP.
  
  The project opens with the inauspiciously titled track, “La la la.” Get past the title and you’ll be greeted with an infectious, poppy little tune that is just perfect for an early summer laze-about. “You make me cry and you make me laugh/ and you make me sing/ you make me want to do my best forever/ La la la la, la la la la.” Okay, not the most innovative lyrics in the world, but trust me, they work.
  
  Just when you think this is going to be a teenie-bopper, sugar pop album, The Hannahband cranks it up on “Hold On.” Frontwoman Hannah maintains a deceptive smoothness to her vocals even when breaking into an Anne Wilson wail, and the double guitar speed metal riffs give rise to Stryper comparisons.
  
  Just when you think this is going to be a 80’s hair metal tribute album, they mellow out on the piano ballad, “I’m Falling Again.” And this might be the best track on the EP, allowing Hannah to dig deep into her emotional register and connect with her audience on a soul level.
  
  Bottom line: Hannahband is one to watch. The EP whets the appetite for the full-blown album.
