New York City, NY - Fresh from their jam packed show at New York's famous Le Poisson Rouge, TJ Moss Band is setting dates for their 2nd national tour to follow up last year's New York album release of "Conundrum". The guys will be hitting the road for a month long tour of the East Coast all the way to to North Carolina.

TJ Moss Band mixes pop, rock, soul, Fenders and firewater to create their own unique brand of rock and roll. This Astoria, Queens based trio recently opened for Joss Stone at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK. They were also featured in TimeOut New York magazine for “Battle of the Bands: Brooklyn vs. Queens”, which they proceeded to win. Their song “It’s Over” was featured as the finale-winning performance on Bravo’s hit show, Step it Up and Dance last summer.

Why? Because people like them. Their debut album Conundrum, produced by Mark Turrigiano (Ingrid Michaelson, Girls and Boys) was released in July '09, followed by a cross-country tour. Their catchy hooks and funky groves leave no booty unshaken. As cover songs go, they make the old ones new, and the new ones different. (Better? Better.) Bottom line: TJ Moss Bands brings it: Energy, Soul, Crowd Pleasing Good Times!

  Queens residents are damn proud of their borough, but you'd have to be living under a rock not to kn...Queens residents are damn proud of their borough, but you'd have to be living under a rock not to know how Brooklynites feel about their zip codes. Eight bands from both burgs, including Illimanjaro and the TJ Moss Band, will duke it out during Battle of the Bands: BKLYN vs. QNS. Besides community glory, the winning outfit takes the stage for an 8pm set.

Acoustic soul artist TJ Moss has tossed in his lot with A&R Select and its wealth of music industry resources.

  The year 2008 will be a busy time for TJ Moss, with, among other things, a month-long tour of the UK slated, to be followed by U.S. touring. In addition, a full-length CD will be released in 2008.

3 hours of total material. Half original, half cover music.

The original ranges from intimate acoustic songs to hard rock and everything in between.

Covers are not straight forward. We've re-imagined each song in a way that pays homage to the original, but lets our style shine through. Some of our crowd pleasers include "With A Little Help From My Friends", "Straight Up", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Faith", and "Billie Jean".
