30A Songwriters Festival's Visit South Walton Song Contest

This is the 30A Songwriters Festival's first-ever Visit South Walton Song Contest. The Festival in its third year has quickly become one of the premier songwriters festivals in the United States and has featured artists like the Indigo Girls, Rodney Crowell, Sam Bush, Jeffrey Steele, Shawn Mullins, Matthew Sweet and Mary Gauthier, along with hundreds of up-and-coming singer/songwriters./n/nThis is the 30A Songwriters Festival's first-ever Visit South Walton Song Contest. The Festival in its third year has quickly become one of the premier songwriters festivals in the United States and has featured artists like the Indigo Girls, Rodney Crowell, Sam Bush, Jeffrey Steele, Shawn Mullins, Matthew Sweet and Mary Gauthier, along with hundreds of up-and-coming singer/songwriters.

Winners will receive the following:

• Performance at the Festival Kick-off party


• Additional performance opportunities throughout Festival


• Accommodations in South Walton for up to five nights


• $500 cash prize


• Inclusion in the 2012 30A Songwriters Festival compilation CD

Submissions will be accepted in the categories of Americana, Folk, Singer/Songwriter, Adult Contemporary and Country. Songs MUST be representative of the South Walton brand, and an inspiration page, along with images of South Walton and the 30A Songwriters Festival can be found here.

The review panel is made up of 30 A Songwriters Festival staff and Visit South Walton staff. A critique will not be provided.
